About Zoe

Recovery is teamwork.

Hi, I’m Zoe Cheng, a general and BIG-registered physiotherapist. I support people with a wide range of musculoskeletal concerns, during recovery from an injury or operation, and when rebuilding strength and confidence in movement.

Within physiotherapy, I have a particular interest in orthopaedic rehabilitation, including recovery after a hip or knee replacement, ACL surgery or a sports injury. I have also completed additional training in oncology rehabilitation and lead group exercise sessions for people during or after cancer treatment.

For me, effective recovery is genuine teamwork. We discuss what you need and create a treatment plan that we both feel confident about. From there, we work step by step towards goals that are meaningful in your everyday life. I want you to understand what is happening in your body and gradually regain confidence in what you can do independently.

Alongside physiotherapy, I am a Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga Teacher. I provide general fitness training and teach a group Yin yoga class every Thursday evening. My experience with yoga gives me an additional appreciation for body awareness, breathing, balance and calm, controlled movement. Outside work, I enjoy running, practising yoga, painting, cooking and playing the piano.
